Love A La Carte: The Shortest Month

19 February, 2014

Love A La Carte features all the little things that make my life just a little more delicious.

Bagels. The AWESOME Google Doodle for the Olympics. Talking Harry Potter theories with friends. Digging into web design (at the moment, CSS and putting together mood boards). Being my own valentine. Breakfast buffets while watching the Team Skating Event at the Sochi Olympic Games (the Italian Ice Dancers blew me away – so interesting and elegant). Also, Davis and White totally crushed it in the Ice Dancing event, even though Virtue and Moir had just a fantastic short program. (Is anyone else geeking out over ice dancing like me? No? Ok, then…) Having just a little wave to my hair. Revisiting old playlists on Spotify. Strong coffee. Unexpected, but lovely belated holiday gifts. Planning a Galentine’s Day brunch with some of my best gal pals. Β This TEDTalk from 13-yr-old Maya, an animator, entrepreneur, and eco-activist. You get it, girl! This lovely wallpaperΒ on my computer desktop.Β Jake Bugg. A good old-fashioned snow day. Watching Friends. U2. This post on 5 Ways to Fail Gracefully (See? I’m learning about Grace already this year.) Barbecue chips.
